Solar Theramal
Our solar thermal energy panels are mounted under our standing seam metal roofing system, which is this case are acting as a component of the thermal system. The system radiates and provides heat to a grid work of purlins which hold the solar thermal system in place.
For application purposes, the solar thermal system is positioned between the standing seam metal roofing system and the attic roof. Our metal panels heat the purlins, which hold and heat a mixture of water and glycol that is then circulated through the cross-linked polyethylene tubing.
As the roofing material used will radiate heat after it reaches a certain temperature, the system regulates itself to prevent overheating and component damage. On a day in which the sun is out, water will normally warm to a temperature between 60 and 80 degrees Farenheit above the ambient air temperature. The solar thermal system harvests the solar energy as heat, thus offsetting fossil fuels and electricity used for heating your hot water.
Perhaps more impressive is that our solar thermal system and our solar photovoltaic laminate electric system can interact synergistically as a result of the solar thermal system cooling the photovoltaic system as it moves heat from the roof to the storage tank. For homeowners its short payback period is making it more popular.
Your team of master roofers have just completed the metal roof on our large contemporary home after four weeks of intense, challenging, dangerous work. We are so impressed with your metal roofing team and wanted you to know it. Hurray for our beautiful metal roof!!
Thanking you
