New Jersey’s #1 Metal Roofing Installer
Standing Seam Metal Roofing
Standing Seam Metal Roofing is the right fit for historical homes, contemporary homes, and even traditional homes. As the area’s leading installer of Standing Seam Metal Roofs, no job is too big or too small for us here at Metal Roofing of New Jersey. The reason we can do this is because we custom fabricate all of our panels using a Metal Man roll forming machine to create our roof panels in our warehouse as well onsite. This machine allows us to produce panels up to 60 feet in length, which prevents the formation of vertical seams on your roof. In addition, thanks to the equipment we use, your roof will be able to expand and contract properly unlike other roof systems that come in a kit.
Low Slope Standing Seam Options
For low sloping roofs, we recommend our mechanically seamed panel that can be installed on roofs with as little of a slope as ½ inch per foot! Never replace or repair your flat roof again. Metal has a life expectancy of over fifty years versus 10 years of a rubber torch down roof.

Standing Seam vs Corrugated Metal Roofing
Metal roofing expands and contracts so it’s essential to make sure you have a roof with enough durability and longevity to stand the test of time. One thing you might want to consider is the difference between a Standing Seam roof and a corrugated roof.
Corrugated Metal Roof
- Utilizes an Exposed Fastener – Not recommended for homeowners due to the exposed screw and washer system
Standing Seam Metal Roof
- Utilizes concealed fasteners – No leaks thanks to concealment
Snap Lock vs Mechanically Seamed
We offer homeowners two-panel locking systems. The mechanically seamed panel is ideal for low sloping roofs, but it is also great for historic homes, or homes that want a low profile seam. Snap lock is more economical because it is less labor intensive but is still a great fit for normal sloped roofs.
Snow Guards
What makes Standing Seam Metal roofs special is the fact that they are a four seasons roof, reflecting heat and sunlight in the summer and shedding ice and snow in the winter. Additionally, it is recommended that you adorn your roof with snow guards to ensure protection during the harsh months of winter.
